This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injection pump, fuel calibration not learned . So for next pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
14168 Possible Causes:
14168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 14168 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
