This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor gear/ratio monitoring adaptation, limit reached and injector cylinder 14 (n392), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
14166 Possible Causes:
14166 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14166 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
