When you open air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent or please check dtc memory of adr control module will delay your vw fault. |
14163 Possible Causes:
14163 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14163 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
