14148 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake flap motor 2 (v275), short to b+ and wait then power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
14148 Possible Causes:
14148 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 14148 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
