Staring in engine o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity and o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 is the final reason of the code. |
14146 Possible Causes:
14146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14146 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter differential pressure too low bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
