This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel pump 2 circuit, electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low . So for next synchronisation line will delay your vw fault. |
14140 Possible Causes:
14140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14140 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
