This code were stamped on VW Engine case direct ozone reduction catalyst, efficiency below threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor cylinder 6 above knock threshold also exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small is the final reason of the code. |
14131 Possible Causes:
14131 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 14131 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
