The problem is about fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off and wait then secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
14121 Possible Causes:
14121 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14121 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
