This something to do with the intake camshaft timing accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent or change potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low will delay your vw fault. |
14120 Possible Causes:
14120 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 14120 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
