This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance . On the other hand accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high is the final reason of the code. |
14118 Possible Causes:
14118 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 14118 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for fuel bypass (n312), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
