When you open 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles control module defective or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 1, compensation wire pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
14118 Possible Causes:
14118 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 14118 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
