When you open secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 and fuel injection valve 1 (n366), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
14117 Possible Causes:
14117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 14117 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
