14116 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel pump "b" control, circuit low or change data-bus powertrain, missing message from brake control module is the final reason of the code. |
14116 Possible Causes:
14116 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14116 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
