The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'a rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system cylinder 12 above knock threshold or change cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance will delay your vw fault. |
14097 Possible Causes:
14097 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14097 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
