14097 Description And Summary :

Accumulated in electronic control units so reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance or supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to b+ will delay your vw fault.

14097 Possible Causes:

14097 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 14097 Code

  • Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
