This code were stamped on VW Engine case low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 you can see the ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
14078 Possible Causes:
14078 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 14078 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
