When you open valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance you can see the power supply, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
14078 Possible Causes:
14078 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 14078 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift up/down wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
