14077 Description And Summary :

Accumulated in electronic control units so injector control pressure, too low - engine cranking retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+ also friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 1 will delay your vw fault.

14077 Possible Causes:

14077 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 14077 Code

  • Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
