14046 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault torque management feedback signal "a" to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low also supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
14046 Possible Causes:
14046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14046 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift lock, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
