14046 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground . On the other hand intake manifold runner control, default not reached is the final reason of the code. |
14046 Possible Causes:
14046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14046 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
