14045 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel level sensor 2, circuit intermittent and wait then intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
14045 Possible Causes:
14045 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 14045 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
