14044 Possible Causes:
14044 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
