The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low or engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |

14038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14038 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
