14029 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing camshaft position signal output, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high also data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu is the final reason of the code.

14029 Possible Causes:

14029 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 14029 Code

  • Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), no / incorrect basic setting/adaptation
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
