14018 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about signal for back-up lights, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus or turbocharger control module, faulty is the final reason of the code. |
14018 Possible Causes:
14018 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 14018 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
