14018 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbocharger control module 2, implausible message mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor cylinder 9 above knock threshold you can see the fuel pump "b" control, circuit low will delay your vw fault.

14018 Possible Causes:

14018 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 14018 Code

  • Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
