The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbocharger control module 2, implausible message mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor cylinder 9 above knock threshold you can see the fuel pump "b" control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
14018 Possible Causes:
14018 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 14018 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
