This something to do with the intake camshaft timing electronic control module incorrect coding It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 . So for next diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation is the final reason of the code. |
14017 Possible Causes:
14017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 14017 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c control module requested, mil illumination
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
