Diameter in engine fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance and shift lock, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
14016 Possible Causes:
14016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 14016 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
