VW Code 14010
14010 Description And Summary : |
---|
The problem is about ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+ and powertrain data bus, missing message from steering wheel electronics is the final reason of the code. |
14010 Possible Causes:
14010 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 14010 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
