14008 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+ . On the other hand engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
14008 Possible Causes:
14008 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 14008 Code
- Inspect all the connections vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
