Staring in engine temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open you can see the o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
140 Possible Causes:
140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 140 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 internal resistance too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
