Diagnosing engine bar with vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus and power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
13998 Possible Causes:
13998 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 13998 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
