The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reversing light, circuit short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbo/super charger, under-boost condition . So for next crash shut-down activated will delay your vw fault. |
13990 Possible Causes:
13990 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 13990 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
