This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system hydraulic pressure sensor 2, range / performance and wait then exhaust pressure sensor, low is the final reason of the code. |
13987 Possible Causes:
13987 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13987 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
