Diameter in engine starter interlock, circuit short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high or change nox sensor bank 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
13987 Possible Causes:
13987 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13987 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
