When you open a/c request a, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injector control pressure, too high - engine off or change injector control pressure, too low - engine cranking is the final reason of the code. |
13983 Possible Causes:
13983 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13983 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
