13978 Description And Summary : |

When you open low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system cylinder 5 above knock threshold or intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
13978 Possible Causes:
13978 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13978 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
