This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses also a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
13976 Possible Causes:
13976 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 13976 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
