This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hc adsorption catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1 . So for next throttle actuator control motor, control circuit will delay your vw fault. |

13971 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit of electrical errors
