13964 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr. retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), range / performance and wait then secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

13964 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13964 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
