Staring in engine fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data-bus powertrain, missing message from brake control module also manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle is the final reason of the code. |
13957 Possible Causes:
13957 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13957 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'j' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
