This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown or change transmission control unit, incorrect coded is the final reason of the code. |
13942 Possible Causes:
13942 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13942 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
