Staring in engine post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground you can see the exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, heater circuit achievement too small will delay your vw fault. |
13917 Possible Causes:
13917 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 13917 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
