13916 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit or exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
13916 Possible Causes:
13916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13916 Code
- Inspect all the connections friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
