This code were stamped on VW Engine case engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so torque management feedback signal "b", low . So for next fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |

13898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
