When you open 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic you can see the shift up/down wire, open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
13898 Possible Causes:
13898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13898 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
