The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+ or change turbocharger 2 control module (j725), high temperature is the final reason of the code. |
13896 Possible Causes:
13896 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 13896 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
