Diagnosing engine bar with evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles gear/ratio monitoring adaptation, limit reached . So for next relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
13890 Possible Causes:
13890 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 13890 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
