This something to do with the intake camshaft timing malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
13888 Possible Causes:
13888 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13888 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel additive control module warning lamp request
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
