13887 Description And Summary : |

When you open fuel pump "b", low flow / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground or crash shut-down activated is the final reason of the code. |
13887 Possible Causes:
13887 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13887 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
