Accumulated in electronic control units so system too rich at higher load, bank 1 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake nox sensor bank 1, circuit low or direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
13873 Possible Causes:
13873 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13873 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
