This something to do with the intake camshaft timing manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel mode indicator lamp control, circuit or generator shut-off, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
13872 Possible Causes:
13872 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 13872 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
