The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit high and wait then ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
13871 Possible Causes:
13871 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 13871 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
