When you open fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off or exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean is the final reason of the code. |
13861 Possible Causes:
13861 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13861 Code
- Inspect all the connections givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
