13840 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more nox sensor bank 2, circuit high or o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
13840 Possible Causes:
13840 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13840 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
