Diagnosing engine bar with fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
13820 Possible Causes:
13820 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13820 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator valve (n331), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
