13817 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so please check dtc memory of brake system ecu . On the other hand control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit is the final reason of the code. |
13817 Possible Causes:
13817 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 13817 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
